Are you an experienced fundraising professional who is ready to lead the development and implementation of a multi-year strategy at Canada’s newest university? Are you a passionate champion of post-secondary student success with a proven track record of securing significant philanthropic support from individuals and organizations?

Reporting to the Executive Director, Governance and External, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic alliances with national/international donors, community, and industry partners, while identifying and building synergy with Yukon University academic, research and student support programs.

You’re an independent and self-driven team player, with a strong desire to make your mark by building our burgeoning fundraising strategy into a mature, cohesive plan that will support and advance YukonU’s strategic goals over the next decade.

You’re a capable leader with a minimum of three years’ management experience and possess an extensive knowledge of the philanthropic landscape in Canada. You bring a vision of YukonU development potential and the ability to inspire and grow a small Development Office into an Advancement powerhouse. You’re a builder and you’re excited about the potential post-secondary education provides to individuals.

In addition to joining a fantastic, dynamic team you will get a comprehensive benefits package and an opportunity to build and foster meaningful relationships within the university, our community and beyond.
