Given the challenges of celebrating in person this year, Yukon University will invite graduates, their families, friends and the wider community to join an online celebration to recognize and applaud the hard work, commitment and accomplishments of the classes of 2020 and 2021.
On May 14th, a ceremony video will be available for streaming on the Yukon University Graduation webpage and air on Northwestel Community TV. A copy of the ceremony will also go out on USB to each student later in the year with their credential.
The ceremony will include keynote speakers, singers, drummers, messages of congratulations from faculty and staff, and conferring of credentials (to include student photos) to all students graduating in 2021 as well as opportunity for those who graduated in Spring of 2020 to join as well.
Students will receive an email asking for their photo and program information to be included in the ceremony video. Please remind your graduating students to check their email from Jennifer Sugden.
Credentials
Graduating students will receive their parchment after the ceremony over the spring/summer.
