Technology Innovation entered into an agreement with a local inventor to investigate the effectiveness of his proposed, radically unique propeller design. A local fabricator/CAD expert was placed on casual hire to carry out the CAD rendering, and was provided with the Yukon Research Centre's own small 3D printer to produce a prototype based on those CAD drawings. Furthermore, the fabricator was asked to employ some flow dynamics software in his possession to provide an initial assessment of the functionality of the design.
