Tablet-based Museum Tour System

Visitors to the McBride Museum in Whitehorse can now learn about the exhibits at their own pace using wireless mobile tablets.

Mid Arctic Computing Services of Whitehorse worked with the McBride on the unique interactive system, which allows visitors to receive information on museum displays in any language.

The tablet based tour system is still in the prototype stage but a commercial product may be up coming.
