Continuous Feed Biochar Machine

Building on the research projects to use biochar in mine remediation and soil enhancement for agricultural purposes this project demonstrated the efficiency of a specially designed continuous feed system for a small scale biochar creation machine suited to the needs of Yukon’s local research, agricultural and mining communities. It was intended as the first phase of the development of a larger scale, mobile version of a continuous feed biochar system which can be deployed in new or existing mine sites to produce biochar for reclamation purposes.
