Wallace Chamberlain Toolbox Scholarships
In loving memory of Wallace (Wally) Chamberlain, his family would like to provide up to four $500 awards that trades students can put towards tools and equipment needed for the job. The recipients will be nominated by program faculty based on on the most significant improvement in grades over the past academic year.
For over 60 years, friends, family and customers could count on Wally to get the job done right. Wally's willingness to teach, open up his garage, go the extra mile, and lend a toolbox to anyone who showed an interest in plumbing, mechanics, carpentry, and everything in between, allowed him to share what he loved with the people he loved.
Eligibility
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Be registered full-time in a Yukon University trades program
Requirements
NOTE: No application is required for this award. Yukon University's trades instructors will submit nominations by January 31, 2021.
