Reporting to Chair of Business and Leadership, the Senior Research Professional is responsible for the development and implementation of research projects that emanate from business topics and theories. Projects should align with Yukon University’s Strategic Directions and values, build northern capacity, and address northern needs and issues.

As the Senior Research Professional in Business Administration, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of northern business research projects at Yukon University.  The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, or related area, preferably at the PhD level, combined with experience in project coordination, gained in an appropriate professional environment such as a university, research institute, or government department.

If you have strong communication, inter-personal, organizational, problem-solving, critical-thinking, time management, and creative skills, and a demonstrated ability to initiate actions, lead a research team and work with minimal supervision, please apply.  Conditions of employment include the ability to occasionally travel to Yukon communities and conferences.
