This course will introduce participants to various summer and fall outdoor pursuits, including canoeing, hiking, backpacking, mountain biking and survival skills. Instruction will focus on the principles of outdoor leadership, team building, decision making and risk management in a northern environment. Students will develop knowledge and skills for leading group activities in the northern outdoors.
