Yukon is comprised of First Nation, municipal, a territorial and federal governments; each of these operates individually and are guided by differing values. This context is not unique to Yukon but is common to other jurisdictions. In order to be effective, leaders in northern organizations need to work ethically and respectfully with an understanding of the relevant context. Students in this course will journey from the historical foundations that created the present day north to what the future of northern business and organizations could and should be.
