The community of Dawson City

Dawson City is situated within the Traditional Territory of the First Nation Tr’ondek Hwëch’in, at the confluence of the Yukon and Klondike Rivers.

Dawson is a thriving community that was built by mining, sustained by culture and tourism and tended by government. The campus supports these sectors by providing various courses and programs in a number of areas. A variety of short- and long-term training programs are offered with a priority to meet local employment needs.
